The natural minor scale is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hearandplay.com\/main\/these-are-traditional-scales-learn-how-to-play-them\">traditional scale<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hearandplay.com\/main\/musicians-mean-say-minor-key\">minor key<\/a> and can be seen as an outline of the notes in the minor key.<\/p>\n<p>In the key of A minor, the A natural minor scale can be formed by playing all the white notes on the keyboard from A:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hearandplay.cc\/dynamic_image\/pianokeys.php?notes=,A,,&amp;color=CC6666&amp;size=2\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\n&#8230;to A:<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hearandplay.cc\/dynamic_image\/pianokeys.php?notes=,,A,&amp;color=CC6666&amp;size=2\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Take a look at the A natural minor scale:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hearandplay.cc\/dynamic_image\/pianokeys.php?notes=,A,B,C,D,E,F,G,A,&amp;color=CC6666&amp;size=2\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\n&#8230;with all eight scale degree.<\/p>\n<p>The natural minor scale lacks what music scholars call <em>the leading note feeling<\/em>. But before we do that, it&#8217;s important that I show you the <em>pick-skip technique, <\/em>which is<em> <\/em>one of the easiest techniques in chord formation<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>How To Form Chords Using The Pick-Skip Technique<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Instead of stacking thirds in the formation of the C major seventh chord:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" scale.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;It&#8217;s Easier Than It Sounds&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In the C major scale:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\"
