Well, there are four main triad types &#8212; major, minor, augmented, and diminished &#8212; and they are the fantastic four I&#8217;m talking about.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Let Me Quickly Refresh Your Mind On These Triads&#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Major And Minor Triads<\/h3>\n<p>The major triad is a product of the first, third, and fifth tones of the natural major scale. In the key of C major:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hearandplay.cc\/dynamic_image\/pianokeys.php?notes=,,C,D,E,F,G,A,B,C,&amp;color=6699CC&amp;size=2\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\n&#8230;the first, third, and fifth tones (which are C, E, and G):<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hearandplay.cc\/dynamic_image\/pianokeys.php?notes=,,C,E,G,,&amp;color=6699CC&amp;size=2\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\n&#8230;when played\/or together produces the C major triad.<\/p>\n<p>The minor triad can be formed when the first, third, and fifth tones of the natural minor scale are played or heard together.
